Gamblers race
Brandon Taylor straps a .008 light on Eddie Ryder taking the victory with a 4.804 on a 4.76 dial.  Ryder had a .044 light and ran 6.616 on a 6.60 dial.

Gates open at 9 am with open time trials from noon until 2.  Round 2 qualifying starts at 2 pm with Limited Street, Drag Radial and Real Street.  Pro Mods are at 3 pm sharp!

Tim Tindle ran a 3.9621 in round 1 of Pro Mod qualifying tying the current track record.  But he's not the fastest.  Mike Neal is on top by .0003, yes 3 tenthousands of a second with a 3.9618

This place is packed!  The track's been asking folks whose cars are parked in the pits and not hooked to a trailer to please move them to the spectator side.  They are literally running out of room to park rigs!

Despite the scorching Florida heat, racers poured into the pit area at the Emerald Coast Dragway.


There's quite a peppering of organizations represented here.
