It was a great day for racing at Bluegrass Raceway as Scotty Richardson's Bottom Bulb Series kicked off it's inaugural event with 47 racers making the first round call. When it was all done and said, Phil Combs would wheel his Chevy S-10 to the winners circle to be crowned the first Bottom Bulb Champion.

Phil Combs .5258 light and 6.376 run on a 6.35 dial would best Chris Plott .520 light and 5.962 on a 5.93 dial.
