WCOPMA doing it “OUTLAW” style at the Nightfire Nationals

Courtey of WCOPMA

With one of the largest racing events on the West Coast the Nightfire Nationals in Boise Idaho is set for August 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th, and the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association is ready to show up and race “Outlaw” style. The traditional Blower vs Nitrous are set to hit the track.

There are at this time twelve cars that are pre entered for this event and the racers that are showing up are some of the heavy hitters on the West Coast.  There is a close points battle going on, so everyone is showing up with their A game on.  The racers that are pre entered are Rod Burbage, Jay Diedrich, Dan Myers, Dennis Radford, Billy Harper, Bret Williamson, Garrett Richards, Greg Carlile, Randy Kay, John Scialpi, Marc Meadors and Rod Pearce.  With phone calls and e-mails coming in daily as this event nears, there has been a lot of interest with a few other teams that are trying to make it, so this looks to be a great field of cars.

Parking will start on Thursday August 12th.  Pro Mod will have three qualifying sessions: Friday August 12th at 7pm, Saturday 14th at 1pm and 7pm, and eliminations on Sunday at 4pm. The Nightfire Nationals is celebrating 39 years in 2010, and this is one event you will not want to miss. With AA/Fuel Dragsters, AA/Funny Cars, Outlaw Pro Mods and a huge bracket race, there is something for everyone at this event.

This is the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association’s first event at Firebird Raceway and all of the teams are stoked to be included in this prestigious event.  For more information, please visit our web site at www.westcoastoutlawpromods.com
