Norwalk, Oh – The International Hot Rod Association is pleased to announce that it is partnering with 1320go.com to provide Live Timing for all of the Nitro Jam events held throughout the 2011 racing season.

Race fans can now visit the IHRA website and watch all of the action live from the professional and sportsman sessions during each Nitro Jam event this season.

“Over the past eight months we have worked closely with 1320go.com to create a custom online Live Timing System for our Nitro Jam events. Continuing our efforts to reach out to the racing communities and to provide the best drag racing experience possible, the new Live Timing System will allow those that can’t travel to an event the ability to watch the action online,” said Skooter Peaco, IHRA VP of Operations. “Our commitment to make drag racing available to the largest number of people has just taken a large step forward.”

1320go.com, a pioneer in providing Live Timing for the drag racing communities, has been providing Live Timing and Timeslips Online Systems to drag strips for the past seven years. Their sophisticated systems have been used at nearly 100 race tracks around the globe providing racers and fans alike with online race data and information.

The IHRA will also be working with 1320go.com to provide Online Systems to member tracks for a discounted price. Current tracks that use the 1320go.com system include Grand Bend Motorplex, Palm Beach International Raceway, Rocky Mountain Raceways, State Capitol Raceway, U.S. 131 Motorsports Park and Rockingham Dragway.

“We are supporting the use of the 1320go.com systems by our tracks for the 2011 season,” Peaco said. “This is a great tool for the tracks to reach out to racers and fans alike to not just watch the action, but to provide them race data and analysis.
