Super Summit 2017 to Showcase Beautiful Cars and BIGFOOT
The spotlight will be on cars shined up to show and souped up to go at Super Summit 2017 presented by Summit 
Racing Equipment, June 9-10 at Summit Motorsports Park. Admission is free for participants and spectators.
Super Summit 2017 will feature a non-judged cruise-in, and participants can make fun-runs down the same track Summit Racing Equipment-sponsored Pro Stock drivers Greg Anderson and Jason Line and other famous drivers compete on.
The event also will include an autocross course.
“We have seen interest grow in autocross activities, and this is a chance for our customers to try it in a non-competitive format,” said Jim Greenleaf, Motorsports and Events Manager for Summit Racing Equipment, headquartered in Tallmadge, Ohio. “Instructors from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will be on hand to coach people, and cars from top autocross suppliers like RideTech will also be there.”
Summit Racing Equipment-sponsored BIGFOOT Monster Truck driver Larry Swim will sign autographs, talk with fans and pose for photos when he’s not crushing cars in the pit area throughout the weekend, and BIGFOOT #5, which rolls on 10-foot tall tires that weigh a whopping 2,400 pounds each, will be on site.
A massive manufacturers’ midway will boast products from approximately 150 companies, including Edelbrock, sponsor of the park’s Super Series, and each will have experts on-hand to answer questions about their products and provide tech support.
Summit Racing Equipment will offer discounts on orders placed during the event, and drawings for Summit Racing Equipment giftcards will be held on the hour at the Summit Racing Equipment trailer.
“Super Summit is really all about customer appreciation, and showing off what our customers have done to their show cars, race cars, off-road trucks and other vehicles with products they’ve purchased from Summit Racing,” said Greenleaf. “We’re really excited about how much this annual event is growing.”
Super Summit 2017 is 2-9 p.m. June 9 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. June 10, Summit Motorsports Park, 1300 State Route 18, Norwalk, Ohio. Car clubs are welcome.
