SNAKE AND MONGOOSE MOVIE EXHIBIT PRESENTED AT RENO ROCKABILLY RIOT JUNE 14-15 & BRINGIN’ OUT THE MUSCLE JUNE 16

Reno, NV – Prizes, free giveaways and photo ops for the new “Snake and Mongoose” movie will be offered during two exciting shows McEwen-Blake-Williams-Prudhommethis weekend. The “Snake and Mongoo$e” booth will be displayed during the Reno Rockabilly Riot at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno June 14 and 15, and at the Bringin’ Out the Muscle 4 car show at Summit Racing Equipment in Sparks, Nevada, June 16.

During the events, the movie booth will display the film’s costumes and props, and those stopping by can receive complimentary movie posters and stickers, and have photos taken with models. Movie t-shirts will also be available for sale.

In addition, show-goers can sign up to win two tickets to the movie’s charity benefit premiere for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society taking place in Los Angeles on August 26 or in Indianapolis on Aug. 29.

The movie is the first drag racing release in nearly 30 years and chronicles the exploits of Don “The Snake” Prudhomme and Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen in the glory days of drag racing in the 60s and 70s.

“These events are a wonderful kick-off to summer and we’re excited to be part of them,” said “Snake and Mongoose” Producer Robin Broidy. “We know the Reno community will love the film and it made perfect sense for us to participate to generate awareness about the film as both events are a fantastic celebration of cars and music.”

The “Snake and Mongoose” film will officially debut at a theater in Reno Friday, Aug. 9. The film’s opening is in conjunction with the Hot August Nights Auction presented by Barrett-Jackson and includes an exhibit of Prudhomme’s iconic yellow and red Hot Wheels Haulers and Funny Cars. These historically significant rigs and race cars will be offered for sale to the public during Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz. Jan. 12-19, 2014.

“Snake and Mongoo$e” stars Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Richard Blake (Dragonball: Evolution), Noah Wyle (Falling Skies) and Tim Blake Nelson (Lincoln).
