2015 drag racing season gets underway May 15 at Grand Bend

STRATFORD, ON – No major changes are planned for the Fraser Asphalt Racing Team this season in the Quick 32 Scott McCannSportsman Series.

We are just going to perform the usual maintenance on the car, noted team owner and driver Scott McCann. We have no major changes planned to the car, we do however plan to win some rounds.

Powered by a 437-cubic inch small block engine, the Top Dragster entry is a consistent qualifier with runs in the high-six-second range at speeds approaching 200 mph. The engine is fuelled with two 1050-cfm carburetors and tweaked with a Fulton nitrous system. A two-speed Hutch’s Transmission is coupled to the engine, which sits in a Fritz chassis.

Bray McCann is crew chief for the team, and helping are Cate McCann Andrew Thiel, and Ryan Ballantyne.

Sponsorship is provided by Fraser Paving, McCann Enterprises, K&K Racing, Keystone Light, Skully Bros., Superior Sealers, CoCo Paving, Root Enterprises, and Humphrey Fleet Service.

New sponsors for 2015 include Rooter’s Custom Coating, Expressway Ford and Core Fuels.
