Brandford, ON – RPM Brian Hansen’s 5th Annual Extreme Street Machine Shootout is back!” Exclaims RPM Editor Chris Biro. “Our first RPM Magazine/Lucas Oil Products Extreme Event presented by Mickey Thompson for 2013 at Grand Bend Motorplex was all about drag cars of every kind, however our next stop is a celebration of the grassroots of the sport itself… street machines!”

With over sixty 8, 7 and 6 second street machines scheduled to participate in the 10” Wide Racing Cruise & Match Race sponsored by Lucas Oil Products, Mickey Thompson and RPM Magazine this is one event you will not want to miss!

Friday night festivities include a cruise to the legendary Gus’s Drive-In located in East Troy, Wisconsin. Every inch of the parking lot will be filled with parachute packing street machines of every make and model imaginable.

RPM 1Then on Saturday participants from all over the United States and Canada will head over to Great Lakes Dragaway (Union Grove Wisconsin) for some best two-out-of three match racing! Racers will be paired up based on their cars’ ¼ mile ET potential and run heads up. Bragging rights are on the line so everyone will be anxiously waiting for their turn with all combinations set on kill. “Just like the old days it will be a heads-up run what ya’ brung race that will be filled with wheel standing, bumper dragging action!” stated Hansen.
