Mooresville, NC Drag racing is relatively new to the world-class engineers at Roush Yates Engines, but the program has already made significant gains in giving racers the same power and performance viewed each week on the NASCAR circuit. Drag racers such as Roy Hill, Steve Corker, and Ronnie Davis have found Roush Yates Engines to be the advantage they need to win at the track each week.

Steve Corker has been racing his Roush Yates-powered engine all season and was announced as the IHRA Division 9 Championship in Quick Rod Eliminator this weekend. Corker will race his 565 Big Block Chevy in the Summit Racing Tournament of Champions next month in Virginia.

Ronnie Davis was the number one qualifier once again at the ADRL race in Rockingham this weekend, making the fastest pass in ADRL Top Sportsman history. Davis switched to a Roush Yates engine just four weeks ago and this week was his third time as number one qualifier. Davis races a Roush Yates-powered 882 Big Block Chevy.

Roy Hill announced his partnership with Roush Yates just a few weeks ago, and his Cobra Jet Mustangs have already benefited. Hill’s cars won the Super Stock AA and Super Stock BA division one week ago at the US Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana. Hill will run again next weekend at the National Event at ZMax in Concord, NC.

Another notable win for Roush Yates this weekend was Chuck Hebing in the Empire Super Sprints Series at Can-Am Motorsports Park in LaFargeville, NY. This is Hebing’s sixth win of the season in his Roush Yates Sprint 360 engine and he remains number one in the point standings.

Roush Yates builds over 1500 engines each year in all divisions of racing. To find out how Roush Yates can help you, visit www.roushyates.com or call 1-877-798-RYPP.
