Pro Racing Fuels returns with contingency and special awards to PMRA and Quick 32 Series

MISSISSAUGA, ON – Pro Racing Fuels will return to both the Pro Modified Racing Association and the Quick 32 Sportsman Series as a sponsor for the two drag racing series.

“This is good news for our racers in both the PMRA and Quick 32 Sportsman Series,” noted Bruce Mehlenbacher, Director of Operations for both series. “Pro Racing Fuels is committed to providing the best in racing fuels, and we are pleased to have their involvement for 2011.”

Headed by Mitch Markusich, Pro Racing Fuels has developed quality and sustainable racing fuel over the past several years, answering the demand for lead-free, high-octane fuels used in competition applications.

Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Pro Racing Fuels provides a wide range of specially-formulated racing fuels with octane ratings up to 116 used in a large spectrum of racing environments. It also provides alcohol fuel for drag racing classes such as Funny Cars and Pro Modifieds, as well as Speedway motorcycles and Sprint Cars.

“We stepped up our program with both the PMRA and the Quick 32 Sportsman Series for this season,” said Markusich. “The racers are running in a good series, and both series provide a good venue for us.”

Markusich went on to say that he believes the six-race format of both series is a positive one for the racers, which allows teams to fully prepare their cars, and when they come to the track the cars are totally ready to compete.

Pro Racing Fuels is providing contingency awards to the winner of each of the six events and awards for the best reaction time at each event during the season in both the PMRA and the Quick 32 Sportsman Series.
