Partnership with Pat Musi Racing Engines and Musi Racing for 2021

MOORESVILLE, NC — A longtime relationship between Pat Musi Racing Engines and Lucas Oil shows no signs of slowing down, as the two companies announced their partnership will continue for the 2021 racing season.

Lucas Oil will also sponsor Lizzy Musi and the Musi Racing team this season, and the partnership will also continue in the engine shop for Pat Musi Racing Engines. It has been the company’s lubricant of choice for more than a decade, helping deliver standout results and an impressive championship resume for Pat Musi Racing Engines.

“We’ve been with them for more than ten years, and I hope to work with Lucas Oil for at least another ten years,” Pat Musi said. “It’s turned into a great sponsorship and something we’re really proud of, and I’m excited to see what we can do together this year.”

On the dragstrip, Lizzy Musi has become a top name in sport, putting together a number of strong runs in the Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings circuit. She jumped onto the scene a year ago, piloting the Musi 959-powered “Aftershock” Camaro to three victories in the series.

Recently, she’s been heavily featured on Discovery driving “Aftershock” as part of Team NOLA for Street Outlaws: Fastest in America. Filmed at an undisclosed concrete road in Wyoming last summer, the series has been a huge hit, with Musi again showing her driving prowess in the popular Street Outlaws scene.

The “Aftershock” Camaro relies on proven Lucas Oil products, and that will extend into 2021 as the team looks for another big year.

“Lucas Oil is excited for our 2021 racing season partnership with Pat Musi Racing Engines,” said Brandon Bernstein, Lucas Oil Director of Partnership Marketing. “Our 11-year relationship is stronger than ever and we look forward to another winning season. Pat Musi Racing Engines and Lucas Oil is a combination that works on and off the racetrack.”

At Pat Musi’s highly successful shop, where’s he’s built championship-winning engines for drivers in a number of series and classes, Lucas Oil remains the lifeblood for each engine. It’s helped the engines set the standard for consistency and durability under extreme conditions, with customers continually pushing their performances to new heights.

When it comes to products, Pat Musi Racing Engines uses Lucas Oil’s 10w40 Racing Oil, 20w50 Racing Oil, 20w50 Break-in Oil and the new Low Viscosity Stabilizer to stay a step ahead of the competition, and Musi expects that to continue in 2021.

“We’ve worked with Lucas Oil for a long time and I wouldn’t run anything else,” Musi said. “They’ve been with me through thick and thin, and they’ve done such a great job supporting us. Their support and their quality products have been huge in our success, and I don’t consider it a sponsorship. It’s a partnership, and it’s been a win-win for everybody.”
