Matter’s Guardian For Heroes Funny Car on Display during Chris Kyle Memorial Benefit

May 1st and May 2nd, 2015, marked the second annual Chris Kyle Memorial Benefit. On the second day of the event, The Guardian for Heroes Alcohol Funny Car Team driven by Nancy Matter was there with the car on display during part the festivities.

“There were a lot of different events all happening at the same time” noted Matter, “When Wayne and Deby Kyle invited us to put the car on display, we were absolutely thrilled to be a part of such an honorable cause. Chris Kyle started Guardian for Heroes in 2012 with a vision that his Family vows to continue, now and in the future”.

“There were Navy Seals, as well as well highly decorated Army, Air Force and Marine Soldiers in attendance. We had many men and women from our military sign the car including The Kyle Family on the Hood of the Monte Carlo exclusively around Chris’s name”.

“We were also fortunate enough to meet Mr. and Mrs. Littlefield (Father and Mother of Chad Littlefield) and it was extremely special for them to see their Son’s name in tribute on the back window of the Monte Carlo.”

Another one of the highlights of the evening for Matter was teaching Jeff Kyle (picture) the procedure of what to do in the driver’s seat in order to start the car and what happens when the car is running for warm up and during the run.

Matter’s Team works very closely with The Kyle Family (Wayne, Deby, Jeff and Amy), GuardiansForHeroesFoundation.Org and The ChrisKyleMemorialBenefit.com, helping with their tireless efforts for Our American Soldiers coming home from War, past and present, in hope of reducing our Country’s epidemic of soldier suicide that results I n 22 deaths a day, 7 of those a week, are young adults that are still enlisted in our Military.
