Lucas Oil winners hit jackpot in Vegas

LAS VEGAS – Winners were crowned today for the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at The Strip Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Racing action began this morning with elimination rounds for all classes, culminating with the crowning of champions in the winner’s circle celebration.  Trophies were handed out in Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car, Comp Eliminator and the rest of the classes that make up the nationwide series.

This was the second of seven events for racers to score points toward regional and divisional championships.  Pacific Division racers will be heading to Auto Club Dragway at Auto Club Speedway for the next Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event, May 22-24.
