Knowles Knows Virginia is for Door Slammer Lovers

Grand Junction, CO – Colorado business man, Mike Knowles, has been a regular on the NHRA legal Pro Mod scene for nearly a decade, but this weekend Knowles plans on rubbing elbows with a bunch of outlaws in a land for lovers of
door slammer racing.
Known for its “outlaw” style of door slammer racing, the ADRL has added legal Pro Modifieds to its repertoire. The first exhibition event will of legal Pro Mods will be held this weekend at the ADRL Speedtech U.S. Drags IV in Dinwiddie, Va.
“This is a neat deal. Tim (McAmis) is running a first class operation with the ADRL and adding legal Pro Mods is a win, win for both the fans and us legal racers. Having another venue to run our cars is great for us and being able to do it in front of a crowd like the ADRL draws is awesome. They love their door slammers in the south,” said Knowles.
