Just a few spots left for Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – Only a few spots remain in the field of the eighth annual Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament Eric Medlenbenefitting the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent, so interested parties are encouraged to sign up now for the popular event.

The tournament will be held Sept. 1 at Eagle Creek Golf Course in Indianapolis. The entry fee is $500 for a foursome or $125 for an individual. To register online, visit www.ericmedlenmemorial.com or contact Brittany Bailey at bbailey@lucasoil.com or by calling 317-350-2166.

“The response has been great this year, and we’re down to just a few slots left that we’re trying to fill,” said Katie Lucas, who hosts the event with her husband, Top Fuel driver Morgan Lucas. “There are team and individual spots left as well as a few sponsorship opportunities, so we ask anyone who may be interested to contact us.

“It’s been such a blessing for us to honor Eric Medlen each year with this tournament, and the fact we’ve raised more than $350,000 speaks volumes about the generosity of the NHRA community and our sport’s wonderful fans. Eric would be so happy.”

Several NHRA drivers will participate in the tournament along with some of the top team sponsors and most rabid fans the sport has to offer. The tournament fee includes food and beverages and a chance to participate in both silent and live auctions.

Proceeds from this year’s tournament will again go to the St. Vincent House, a comforting, home-like atmosphere for St. Vincent patients and families. St. Vincent House serves as a home away from home for families to give them peace and rest as well as emotional and spiritual refreshment and support.
