GC COOLING RELEASES 16V HIGH PERFORMANCE COOLING FAN

DES MOINES, IA – GC Cooling has announced the addition of a 16V Fan to their high performance fan product line. The 16V Fan was created after GC Cooling recognized a large demand for a high-performance cooling fan which could efficiently run on 16 volts.

Drag and circle track racers are opting to use 16 volt batteries to boost their ignition system as well as other components. The hotter spark caused by the higher voltage allows the vehicle to run a larger spark plug gap and boost the carburetor. When the hotter spark is combined with increased fuel, improved performance is achieved.

“We noticed the need for a 16V fan when we started working with Street Outlaws and the drag racers on the show such as James Goad and Jeff Lutz. After we worked on the 16V Fan, we were able to work with some top racers from Hot Rod Drag Week, including Lutz Race Cars and Joe Barry Motorsports, to put the fan to the test and get quick feedback,” said Bob Folkestad, owner of GC Cooling.

The 16V fan is available in a 16-inch diameter in a nonreversible push or pull configuration. 16V Fans have an overall depth of 3.5-inches and are a compact size.
