Tulsa Raceway Park and Fairlife YUP! Team Up For NHRA Jr. Western Conference Finals

GLENDORA, CA – Osage Tulsa Raceway Park enters its third year hosting the illustrious NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League Western Conference Finals, one of two national events in the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League. For 2018, Tulsa Raceway Park has partnered with Coca-Cola brand Fairlife YUP!, and together, they aim to grow the event to new heights of success.

Highlighted by the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing Western Conference Finals presented by Fairlife YUP!, the weeklong program features well over 300 Jr. Dragsters competing in a number of different events, from index racing to numerous bracket events.

May  2018 Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park Throw Down In T-Town & Mid-West Pro Mod & Radial Series!

The Throw Down in T-Town has become one of the most popular drag races in the country because it’s a race put on by racers for racers.

Throw Down of 2018 will be held at Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park on May 11th-12th and will feature some of the top racers in the United States competing in 10 classes.

“The Throw Down in T-Town has become one of the largest races in the country,” track co-owner Keith Haney said. “We had over 160 race cars in May. It’s a FREE event for the customer, and we had 25,000 fans in the stands for the weekend in May 2017. It’s just become a huge event.”

GLENDORA, CA – NHRA and Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park announced today that the Oklahoma facility will host a round of the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series event in 2017 for both the Top Fuel and A/Fuel classes.

The event will be held Sept. 22-23 in conjunction with Tulsa Raceway Park’s annual Nitro Nationals event and will the fourth of five events in the series for Top Fuel, and the fifth of six events for the A/Fuel competitors. Both classes will earn NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series points at the event.

Rogers Earns Holeshot Midwest Pro Mod Series Win in T-Town

TULSA, OK — Eddie Rogers laid down a pass of 3.863 seconds at 190.30 mph to earn the win Saturday night in the Midwest Pro Mod Series show at Tulsa Raceway Park. The Arkansas native earned the victory with a holeshot advantage of .052 seconds over runner-up Jonas Aleshire’s 3.82-second lap at 198.41 mph. The thrilling finale wrapped up an incredible weekend of racing that kicked off with Keith Haney earning top qualifier honors with a pass of 3.756 seconds at 201.64 mph.

“I thought it was great,” Rogers said after his victory. “We had a great turn out of good cars and a nice mix of power combinations. I think the fans enjoy seeing different kinds of cars racing each other. I think (the event) was run very well and if we can make sure one combination doesn’t run away with it, the turn out will be good and there will be some great racing.”

Keith Haney Racing completed an “outstanding weekend” in the Throw Down in T-Town!

The Throw Down marked the first time both KHR Lucas Oil/RacingJunk.com Chevrolet Camaros raced in the same event.

“That was fun – and a lot of work,” Haney said. “Plus, we entertained our local fans. But it was absolutely outstanding weekend for Keith Haney Racing.”

Notorious qualified No. 1 in the Mid-West Pro Mod Series race with a pass of 3.756 seconds at 201.64 mph, while Enigma qualified No. 2 with a run of 3.914 seconds at 193.40 mph.

Haney won in the first and second round with Notorious, and then things got interesting.
