ENGLISHTOWN, NJ – In New Jersey over the weekend, the weather was prime for posting incredible times and that is just what happened as Eman and Team Aruba posted a career fastest mile per hour going 223.21. The track was aggressive all weekend and teams weren’t getting down the track.

In round one, Eman and the Aruba.com Digicel powered Escort lined up against John Montecalvo, and were dealt a blown transmission mid pass. As a result, Team Aruba’s speedy weekend had come to a sudden halt.

“Things were fine in the lanes, during the burn out and immediately off the line but then the car wouldn’t shift,” Eman described. “Sometimes things happen in racing and that’s part of the competition and knowing your car. We qualified for the shootout in Tulsa and that’s what really matters! We are looking forward to next weekend!”

ENGLISHTOWN, NJ –In Norwalk, Ohio, Trevor Eman and Team Aruba sailed past Brian Gham, one of the most winning drivers in ADRL history to advance to the next round. This weekend in Englishtown, Eman expects to see some of the fastest times down the track with the weather conditions being almost picture perfect. Mother Nature and her ways have swept over much of the racing season this year, which makes this weekend that much more of a thrill.

“We might even be able to see a pro stock car go 6.10’s this weekend, we hope to hit those numbers,” states Eman. “There are a lot of factors that go into posting incredible numbers and weather, humidity and altitude are always a contributing factor.”

With the Battle of the Belts around the corner in Ennis, Texas, the MMPSA title also remains up for grabs.  As the end of the season draws near, Team Aruba inches closer and closer to obtaining the opportunity to have  their best season yet. Posting solid times, cutting great lights and maintaining excellent ET’s whenever possible will be crucial, as Eman and Team Aruba work hard towards the top spot.

NORWALK, OHIO –After the rain once again halted race action in Rockingham, the eliminations were wrapped in Norwalk. On Friday evening, Team Aruba and the Digicel driven Ecort powered themselves into a spot in the semi-finals, and fell just shy of an appearance in the finals.

Saturday, the sporadic clouds lingered and the temperature dropped. Round one of eliminations began at 9am and it was prime racing weather. “Being in the semis after the rain called Rockingham was fantastic and carrying that momentum into the next day’s qualifying round and eliminations was just what we needed,” Eman stated. Team Aruba also bounced back from the first three rounds of qualifying running a 4.11, sitting 6th in the bracket.

In round on e of eliminations Eman ran a 4.26 and recognized immediate transmission issues. Performing well at the track and gaining points whenever possible will be crucial, as Eman and his crew work towards the opportunity to compete for the Battle of the Belts that will take place next month.

Team Aruba Determined to Earn First Victory After VMP Performance

UNION, SC — “Virginia Motorsports Park?Hello from Aruba!” A nice and sunny weekend at Virginia Motorsports Park (VMP) proved to be a beautiful racing weekend. Team Aruba’s driver, Trevor Eman happily said, “It feels like we are racing in Aruba!”

As always, Team Aruba’s pit area is a reflection of the island Aruba and the Aruban People. “We’re having fun, but the weekend is not over yet. We have a lot of work ahead of us, and we have to do well to be in the show with the other 19 Mountain Motor Pro Stock teams,” says Eman, a full-time college student and the youngest Mountain Motor Pro Stock driver. “Let’s go racing…And a warm ‘Hello’ from Aruba!”

VMP hosted nice weather and even nicer people. These conditions must have really worked, because Trevor did a first qualifying run of 4.10 seconds as the third pair out. “We came pretty close to beating our career-best elapsed time,” says Trevor, who was only a hundredth and a half seconds off of his best ET. “We were at the 60-foot mark in 0.984 seconds; not a bad first run.”
