Records Set at Season Opening Super Chevy Shows
IRGSE and TEN celebrate record numbers at Memphis and Palm Beach

publishers of Super Chevy, Motor Trend, HOT ROD, and more than 25 other automotive magazines, partnered to bring all things Chevy to the forefront in the Mid-South and Southeast during the month of April. The relationship resulted in record fan attendance at Memphis International Raceway and record racer and car show participants at Palm Beach International Raceway.
IRGSE and TEN announced a multi-year partnership to bring an unmatched at-track racer and fan experience to automotive enthusiasts across the country earlier this year. The result of the new relationship has elevated the prestigious Super Chevy Show into one of the premiere automotive events of the year. Super Chevy Show has Largest Turnout of Racers and Car Show Attendees at Palm Beach International Raceway
JUPITER, FL – Palm Beach International Raceway™, TEN: The Enthusiast Network, and Publishers of Super Chevy 
Magazine celebrated the Official Super Chevy Show over the weekend and the racers and car show participants showed up in record numbers for the two-day event. The world’s largest Chevy automotive event featured drag racing action, a premiere car and truck show, sold out swap meet, car corral, vendor midway and much more.
The drag strip competition was highlighted by several different sportsman classes, the Camaro Gen 5 challenge, E.T. Bracket classes, Junior Dragster, Ultra Street, and the X632/Outlaw 632 over the weekend. Each class had an opportunity to walk away with a cash prize and bragging rights as the winner of the Super Chevy Show.
The Official Super Chevy Show Returns to Maryland International Raceway August 20-21
Mechanicsville, MD – The world’s largest manufacturer show is celebrating 30 years at Maryland International 
Raceway (MDIR) and it is less than five months away. This year’s original Super Chevy Show returns with the history and prestige of TEN: The Enthusiast Network with full coverage from Super Chevy Magazine. The August 20 – 21, 2016 event brings together Chevy enthusiasts from around the country to celebrate their favorite manufacturer.

MIR doubles Pro Mod field at Super Chevy Show
Strong entry numbers prompt field growing from eight to 16 cars
MILLINGTON, TN – The field of the U.S. Southern Shootout at this week’s Super Chevy Show has grown so strong 
that officials at Memphis International Raceway (MIR) had to find a way to make it better.
The entry list for Pro Mod race that is part of the event’s Pro Show has swelled to 22 high-caliber cars with a scheduled eliminations bracket set for just eight cars.
The Pro Mod eliminations field at this year’s Super Chevy Show has been expanded from eight to 16 cars.

MILLINGTON, TN – It’s hard not to be the center of attention when you drive a car that belches smoke and spits fire.
Of all the ways to excite the Memphis International Raceway (MIR) crowd at this weekend’s Super Chevy Show the jet cars that are part of the Pro Show do the best job of firing everyone up with their pyrotechnics and their window-rattling, ground-shaking power.

“We’ve had events where we’ve run out of autograph cards,” said Al Zakaukus driver of Hot Blade. “We’ve had to start signing T-Shirts, foreheads and pieces of wood for the fans. People just get mesmerized.”
Pro Judging Sets Super Chevy Show Apart
Nearly 200 awards will be handed out during weekend event at MIR
MILLINGTON, TN – Part of what makes the Super Chevy Show at Memphis International Raceway (MIR) such a 
popular event with car enthusiasts from a dozen different states, is the opportunity to have their loving restored hot rod evaluated by a panel of judges certified by the International Show Car Association.
This weekend’s Super Chevy Show will have three judges working the car show and handing out nearly 200 awards across several classes. It’s all in a weekend’s work for judge Ron Fetter.
Classic cars from all eras will take part in this year’s Super Chevy Show at Memphis International Raceway.
Super Chevy discounted tickets still available Limited VIP packages left, single day tickets on sale Friday
MILLINGTON, TN – Time to buy discounted advance tickets for this weekend’s Super Chevy Show at Memphis 
International Raceway (MIR) is running out.
Fans have until Friday morning to save between $3 and $25 on spectator tickets, race entries, swap meet spots, car show entries, RV spots and passes for the VIP Suite Experience on Saturday.
A few discounted tickets for the VIP Suite Experience are available. It’s the first time that MIR has offered suite access on an individual basis. By buying in advance, fans get suite access on Saturday, VIP Parking, food and non-alcoholic beverages for only $75. That ticket goes up to $100 at the gate.
FREDY SCRIBA RACES TO NEOPMA SUPER CHEVY VICTORY AT MAPLE GROVE RACEWAY’S CHEVY VS. THE WORLD
Mohnton, PA – Fredy Scriba and Team had their 63’ “Sorcerer Vette” Pro Mod ready for action and proved it with an impressive 
win at the 2014 Maple Grove Super Chevy, Northeast Outlaw Pro Mods “Chevy vs. The World” event. Overcoming blistering heat all weekend, Fredy Scriba and his team put the immaculate Fulton powered Vette into the winners circle running a 6.04 @ 235 against opponent Frank Patille’s 6.56 @ 186 in his beautiful Buick in the final when it was needed to keep the “Chevy’s” on top. With the win Fredy Scriba assumes 1st place in points with the NEOPMA.
Conditions were hot and humid, with a July heat wave in full effect with Sunday eliminations heat not much better. Many of the 19 teams competing for 1 of the 16 qualified spots during the long hot days Friday and Saturday struggled to get a handle on the track, but by the final qualifier the 16 teams that figured out their tune up for the track conditions were ready for eliminations on Sunday and put on an exciting race.
