Pro Mod Meltdown Added to Spring RPM/Lucas Oil Extreme Event

Brandford, ON – Where would any event be without fast doorslammers? The Heads Up Racing Association (H.U.R.A.), featuring Pro Modified 1/4 mile drag racing, will host their inaugural race at this year’s RPM Magazine/Lucas Oil Products Extreme Event in Grand Bend, Ontario!

HURA was started by racers looking for a place to race when the natural progression of heads-up racing goes beyond their means.

Dave Earhart, one of HURA’s founding members put’s it this way, “Look, we want to race, we want to go fast, and we want to race heads-up but at the same time have an opportunity of winning at any given time.

Show Growing for May Extreme Event in Grand Bend

Brandford, ON – As announced last month RPM Magazine/Lucas Oil Extreme Events will be backing 3 events for 2011, and the first, being held at the Grand Bend Motorplex in Ontario, Canada, is gaining momentum with every day that passes.

“The May long weekend in Canada will be upon us before we know it and the Grand Bend Motorplex team has been working hard to put together a great show, and we’ve been doing whatever we can to help,” said RPM Editor Chris Biro.

“We try to do everything possible to support the sport that makes RPM possible and these three events are definitely designed to give back to racers, performance enthusiasts and fans. The fact that we are partnered with such outstanding people only makes it a better experience from start to finish!”
