NMCA Takes Over Bradenton Florida – 16th Annual NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem!
With the 16th Annual NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem only a few days away, racers and fans will soon be filling the pits 
and grandstands as the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals presented by E3 Spark Plugs, begins it’s 31st season.
As in years past, this race sets the stage for a six-race season, which finishes at Lucas Oil Raceway late in September. But it is this race, at a track known for producing insane performances, where racers and teams set the tone for the rest of the year.
With one of the best racing surfaces in all of drag racing and arguably the best air of the season, this event usually sets performance benchmarks for the rest of the year – something the most competitive racers are well aware of. While record-setting numbers at one event may not win a season title, it does allow for early contenders to stand above the pack in terms of performance.
For fans, it gives them an opportunity to see some of the quickest and fastest passes of the season, across all classes.

NMCA Kicks Off 2018 in Bradenton Florida!
The NMCA begins its 31st season March 8-11 as racers across the country say goodbye to the winter blues, fill their tow vehicles with fuel, load the fridge, and head to Bradenton Motorsports Park for the 16th Annual NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem.
This season-opening race for the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals presented by E3 Spark Plugs never fails to raise the adrenaline of fans and racers alike as Bradenton’s excellent racing surface and engine-friendly air combine to give racers and fans one of the best venues to race on in the country.
From a packed field of VP Racing Fuels Xtreme Pro Mods to the outrageous rides in the Mickey Thompson Radial Wars class, to five other “small-tire” classes, spectators will surely get their fill of both eighth and quarter-mile action!

Kicking off the 20th Anniversary of the NMRA Ford Nationals presented by Keystone Automotive season is a race 
like no other as Bradenton Motorsports Park will once again be filled to capacity with the Blue Oval faithful March 1-4.
This is no ordinary drag race. In fact, the 24th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA Spring Break Shootout presented by Steeda is the biggest all-Ford drag race in Florida, and this year promises to be the biggest yet – highlighted by an incredible lineup of specialty events ranging from the Watson Racing Cobra Jet Showdown, to the insane Outlaw True Street class sponsored by ididit.

The NMRA is kicking off the 2018 season at Bradenton Motorsports Park March 1-4. The 24th Annual Nitto Tire 
NMRA Spring Break Shootout presented by Steeda Autosports will be jammed with wall-to-wall action as the World’s Fastest Fords descend upon the Gulf Coast of Florida.
From the ear-piercing revs of turbo, supercharged and nitrous-fed Street Outlaws to the high-winding RPM coming from Ford’s Coyote engine, this kicks off the 20th Anniversary of the NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals.
While the end of this season is still months away, it’s this race which sets the pace of the rest of the year, so while shaking off the winter doldrums may be on some racers minds, there are also championship runs to be considered. Whoever ends up in the Aerospace Components Winners’ Circle on Sunday, will get that out-of-the-gate boost needed to chase this year’s class title.

Race Wrap – 6th Annual Mickey Thompson NMCA West Coast World Finals
Santa Ana, CA -The VP Racing Fuels NMCA West Drag Racing Series championship season concluded with the 
completion of the 6th Annual Mickey Thompson NMCA West Coast World Finals at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, California, October 13-15. NMCA West championships were on the line, as racers pulled out all of the stops while battling major winds that caused many of the classes to be run at the eighth-mile race distance. In addition to the straight-line action, the Hotchkis Auto X presented by Nitto Tire put on a great show as always, with many of the drivers competing for the Hotchkis Grand Champion award.
In ProCharger Outlaw Street competition, Johnny Coleman led qualifying with 4.571 elapsed time at 159.55 mph, and he would improve on that with a 4.56, but in the final round, it was Tom Marshall taking the win and the trip to the Aerospace Components Winner’s Circle with a hole-shot victory over Lafayette Williams, 5.121 to 5.119.
NMCA WEST Returns to Auto Club Dragway!
The 2017 NMCA West VP Racing Fuel Muscle Car Nationals winds up the season at Auto Club Dragway October 13-15 with the running of the Sixth Annual Mickey Thompson NMCA West Coast World Finals.
With Fall in the air this race has the makings to be one of the most competitive of the year as racers pull out all the stops, gunning for their last shot at a trip to the Aerospace Components Winner’s Circle, a personal best, or perhaps even a class championship.
In many classes, championships are still up for grabs, including: ProCharger Outlaw Street where Johnny Coleman leads Michael Orban and Richard Morris – both of whom are within striking distance. Things are also super-close in Ultra Street where Mike Silva will be trying to hold off charges by Brian Greenberg and Dan Dagata.

Santa Ana, CA – The National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA) is proud to announce its official schedule for its 20th anniversary series tour in 2018. The largest all-Ford motorsport series features an exciting line-up of drag racing classes, car shows and special events. The 2018 NMRA Ford Nationals series includes six events starting with the 24th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA Spring Break Shootout, presented by Steeda Autosports, held at Bradenton Motorsports Park, March 1-4, 2018. The season will conclude with the 20th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA All-Ford World Finals at Beech Bend Raceway, September 27-30, 2018.
The popular NMRA series exhibits steady growth year-after-year due to dedicated Ford fans, racers and solid track partners across the Midwest and East Coast. “We’re thrilled with our 2018 season schedule,” said Rollie Miller, NMRA General Manager. “It will be an exciting season that also includes events at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia, Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, Pennsylvania, National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio, and our annual Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street-Legal Drag Racing that rewards the winning team with prestigious Nitto Tire Diamond Tree rings at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois”.
