FORGELINE’S NEW FORGED MONOBLOCK BEADLOCK AND ‘SKINNY’ DRAG RACING WHEELS CAPTURE GLOBAL MEDIA AWARDS AT 2019 PRI SHOW

DAYTON, OH – Forgeline’s new Forged Monoblock Single Beadlock and 18 x 5.0 Forged Monoblock “Skinnies” wheels earned Global Media Awards at the 2019 PRI Show.

Developed for drag racing applications, the wheels offer strong, lightweight construction and, in the case of the new Forged Monoblock Single Beadlock wheel, the assurance of positive wheel-and-tire engagement in extreme-performance conditions.

RPM Act Introduced In US House Of Representatives

Washington – The Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports Act of 2019 (RPM Act) protects Americans’ right to convert street vehicles into dedicated race cars and the motorsports parts industry’s ability to sell products that enable racers to compete.

US Representatives Patrick McHenry (R-NC) and Raul Ruiz (D-CA) have introduced H.R. 5434, the Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports Act of 2019 (RPM Act of 2019). The bipartisan RPM Act of 2019 protects Americans’ right to convert street vehicles into dedicated race cars and the motorsports parts industry’s ability to sell products that enable racers to compete.

2016 PRI Trade Show Finishes with Whirlwind of Activity

Race industry professionals from throughout the world gathered last week in Indianapolis, Indiana, for the three biggest business days in racing, also known as the 2016 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show. Featuring thousands of manufacturers, new products and industry announcements, the annual trade event was a resounding success, as Showgoers left prepared and eager for more business heading into the 2017 racing season.

Big Business Makes For Banner Day Two Of PRI Trade Show

Motorsports parts and equipment buyers packed the booths and overflowed into the aisles of the Indiana Convention Center on Friday during one of the busiest days in Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show history.

Day Two of PRI 2016 kicked off with a trio of Show-sponsored seminars focused on enhancing business and marketing, making connections and achieving success on- and off-track, and the themes carried over onto a Show floor that more than lived up to host city Indianapolis’ tag as the Racing Capital of the World.

Douglas Robbie, who has been attending the PRI Show for five consecutive years, was among the many who attended “The Look from the Sponsor Side: 4 Keys to Successful Strategic Relationships” seminar Friday morning. Hoping to expand his marketing knowledge and learn how to improve sponsor relations for his modified race team, Robbie left the seminar with “a clearer picture of how to do it and how to work with my marketing person to get it.”

Blockbuster Start To 2016 PRI Trade Show

Indy car legend Rick Mears and NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon helped pace the start of the 2016 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show with an unforgettable appearance at the Show’s Grand Opening Breakfast in the Indiana Convention Center’s Sagamore Ballroom Thursday morning. Hosted by MAVTV’s Dave Despain, this year’s traditional kickoff event featured a lively hour-long talk show-style program with two of the best to ever pilot a race car.

“Day One of the 2016 PRI Show exceeded our expectations,” said PRI General Manager Bill Miller. “Rick Mears and Jeff Gordon set the tone at the opening breakfast, and on the show floor the day was filled with business and networking. There are so many new products debuting, lots of great seminars to attend and race professionals to meet with.”

New Online Attendee Registration Process For PRI Trade Show Takes Only Minutes

LAGUNA BEACH, CA – A brief, fill-in-the-blanks online form allows racing industry professionals to register for credentials for the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in just minutes.  The credential request will then be confirmed within one business day.

Racing business people need only fill out the form, and hit the submit button. If they have attended the PRI Trade Show previously, there is no need to attach proof of being part of a racing business or professional race team. First-time visitors are asked to submit verification they are part of a racing business, such as a copy of a business license. There is no charge to attend.

Approximately 1100 companies will exhibit the latest advances in racing products and motorsports engineering at the 24th Annual PRI Trade Show, December 1-3, 2011, in Orlando, Florida. It is the world’s largest racing trade show, and the centerpiece event of Race Industry Week 2011.

EFI UNIVERSITY RETURNS TO RACE INDUSTRY WEEK

LAGUNA BEACH, CA – Performance and racing engine builders looking to tune up their knowledge of electronic fuel injection in racing applications will make plans to arrive early in Orlando the week of the PRI Trade Show for a special course taught by EFI University.

Presented by FAST (Fuel Air Spark Technology), the one-day course is limited to classroom-sized seating, and focuses mainly on discussions dealing with properly setting up an ECU using the latest software. Components and software used for this class will supplied by FAST, but the topics and strategies covered can be applied to any EFI setup.
