Tickets On Sale for 8 2023 Events at Summit Motorsports Park Starting Nov. 21
Norwalk, OH – A magnificent 2023 season is in the making at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, and beginning at 8 a.m. on 
Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, tickets for eight signature events are set to go on sale to the public.
The events are the 46th Annual Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire, August 5, 17th Annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, June 22-25, 3rd Annual PDRA American Door Slammer Challenge, May 25-27, 17th Annual Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser, June 1-4, 23rd Annual NMRA Ford Performance Nationals, June 9-11, 32nd Annual Ames Performance Pontiac Nationals, July 21-23, 22nd Annual Lingenfelter Blue Suede Cruise, July 28-30 and 22nd Annual NMCA All-American Nationals, August 24-27.
“2023 is the 60th anniversary of our facility’s existence, and the 50th anniversary of our family’s ownership of it, and we are looking forward to a season-long celebration with all of our guests,” said Bill Bader Jr., president of Summit Motorsports Park. “It is going to be a great year.”
Summit Motorsports Park-Produced Mopar Event to Debut in 2023
Norwalk, OH – Summit Motorsports Park is pleased to introduce its very own incredibly inspired Mopar event. The name of the event, its 
sponsors, categories and other information will be shared at a later date, but for now, mark your calendars for Sept. 21-24, 2023, and be part of this event with a distinct Summit Motorsports Park stamp on it.
“The Summit Motorsports Park team is in the process of conceptualizing this brand-new event, and we couldn’t be more enthusiastic about it,” said Bill Bader Jr., president of Summit Motorsports Park. “We are also exploring everything that makes other Summit Motorsports Park-produced events successful so that we can insert select elements into this new event to make it stand out while also standing the test of time.”

Norwalk, OH – There is additional cause for celebration, as the year will mark the 60th anniversary of the facility’s existence and the 50th 
anniversary of the Bader family’s ownership of it.
The curtain will open with the 42nd Annual Spring Warmup on April 15, followed by the Edelbrock Super Series Opening Day, April 22.
A fierce four-event stretch begins with the 2nd Annual AMRA Ohio Nitro Nationals presented by Arch Racing, May 19-21, 3rd Annual PDRA American Door Slammer Challenge presented by Callies, May 25-27, 17th Annual Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser, June 1-4 and 23rd Annual NMRA Ford Performance Nationals, June 9-11.

Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
Edelbrock Super Pro racer and 2022 class champion Carl Keil won in Super Pro.
Edelbrock Pro racer and 2022 class champion A.J. Buchanan won in Pro, after racing Edelbrock Pro crackerjack John Gregory.
Wiseco/Cycle Tech Super Bike hotshot Garreth Sheppeard won in Motorcycle, after racing 2022 Wiseco/Cycle Tech Super Bike champion Jeremy Hicks.
By the time the curtain came down on the exciting event, Team Summit Motorsports Park — known as the Summit Outlaws for the weekend — had jumped from eleventh-place to a fine second-place finish!

Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire in Norwalk Elicited Excitement & Emotion
Norwalk, OH – After a year of planning, a production full of pomp and circumstance was presented to a packed house at the 45th Annual 
Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire on Aug. 6, 2022 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
Guests from across the country and Canada gathered, despite the heat and humidity, to see a wide variety of entertainers and racers give it everything they had to put on a show for them. Their stage was the track perfectly prepared by Summit Motorsports Park Track Manager Evan Bader, Kurt Johnson of Total Venue Concepts and a hardworking track crew. Ron Huntley and Summit Motorsports Park president Bill Bader Jr. called all of the amazing action.
As part of opening ceremonies, entertainers and racers paraded down track while being introduced by Bader Jr., who sported a tuxedo for this very special occasion. The Rhythm and Rhyme Barbershop Quartet performed “The Star-Spangled Banner,” and a giant flag was ceremoniously unfurled over the track surface by a team of people led by Bobbie Bader.

continue at this year’s event on Aug. 6, 2022 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
The Greatest Show in Drag Racing® will spotlight performances by the beloved Bob Motz and his jet engine-powered truck and famous NHRA Funny Car drivers John Force, Ron Capps, Cruz Pedregon, Alexis DeJoria, Robert Hight and Dale Creasy Jr.
Top-notch Top Fuel Motorcycle riders Larry “Spiderman” McBride, Dave Vantine, Sam Willis and Mitch Brown will be in action, as will Top Alcohol Dragsters, Pro Mods, Outlaw Dragsters and ScottRods AA/Gassers.

Norwalk, OH – Music from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s will play as cars from those eras pull in for the 21st Annual Lingenfelter Performance 
Engineering Blue Suede Cruise presented by Cometic Gasket, July 29-31, 2022 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
The event is a dedication to days gone by, and has been enjoyed by enthusiasts from across the country for decades. This year’s offering is sure to be outstanding.
In addition to a very colorful and chrome-filled car show, there will be fun-runs, Nostalgia Drag Racing League competition and an autocross.
Fans can check out all of the items available for purchase in the manufacturers’ midway, Women’s World and the park’s popular Quarter Mile Clothing Company.

Action & Adventure On Tap for Cavalcade of Stars at Summit Motorsports Park
Norwalk, OH – Sportsman racers will pull out all the stops and put on a show at the 16th Annual Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser, 
June 2-5, 2022 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
The event, which traditionally welcomes the largest audience on the annual NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series North Central Division tour, will feature fan-favorite categories, including Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Competition Eliminator, Super Stock, Stock Eliminator, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Top Sportsman and Top Dragster.
Ernie Bogue and his Beast from the East jet engine-powered dragster and Danny Sullivan and his Chicago Rush jet engine-powered dragster will shoot flames before setting sail, and Rick Ream and his Bullet Nose Studebaker wheelstander will go wheels way up.
Pro Mods packing turbo, supercharger and nitrous combinations will pound pavement for the R&R Auto Body and DeCerbo Construction Rumble Wars Extreme 8, and in addition to seeing all of their favorite drivers on the track, fans can meet them, talk with them and have their pictures taken with them in the pit area, making the event even more memorable.
Summit Motorsports Park Starts 2022 Racing Season with Spring Warm-Up
Norwalk, OH – Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio will roll into its 2022 racing season with the 41st Annual ebay motors Spring 
Warm-Up on April 16, 2022.
In addition to Ohio, racers will come from Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana and surrounding states to take part in the all-day test session to make sure their cars and combinations are ready for competition. In the process, they will show race fans what’s in store for them for the coming months at the park.
This fan-friendly event will also feature a sizable swap meet with everything from engines to engine parts, and racers can have their wheels fitted with tires free of charge with the option to purchase them through the popular Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels Try It and Buy It program.
Chassis inspections will be available to racers who register in advance for one, and Edelbrock Super Series racers can sign up for the 2022 Finish Line Club, where they will be eligible to earn a share of nearly $500,000 in cash and prizes and take part in programs including the $54,150 Edelbrock Super Series, Contingency, Delivered on Time by TFC Transportation Cash Bonus, R&R Auto Body Paint My Ride, Summit Racing Equipment Junior Dragster Shootout, Trick Flow Specialties Ultimate Performer, Edelbrock Winner Jacket, Summit Motorsports Park Run Tuff T-shirt and Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School Perfect Light Bonus.
