NMCA Racers Broke Records at Georgia’s House of Speed
Race Wrap for the 7th Annual Borla Exhaust NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals, Presented by Miller Welders
Santa Ana, CA – The 2015 Borla Exhaust NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals, presented by Miller Welders was the 
place to be April 9-12 with hot heads-up and index racing to be seen and heard. Records were set, champions fell, and the action was intense here at the second stop of the 2015 NMCA Flowmaster Drag Racing Series.
In VP Racing Fuels Pro Mod, it was the turbocharged machine of Michael Biehle II setting the pace early on with a 6.05-second hit at 248 mph. The blower cars put up a valiant effort though, with Rick Sachsel getting through round one and Tom Dwyer driving his Chevelle to the final round. Biehle made it back-to-back NMCA wins after defeating Dwyer, 6.02/250 to 6.48/231.
Muscle Car Madness! 2015 NMCA Season Opener Race Wrap
Santa Ana, CA – There was lots of excitement going into the 13th Annual Ross Racing Pistons NMCA Muscle Car 
Nationals that took place March 20-22, 2015 in Bradenton, Florida. With two new classes debuting and the addition of the local Outlaw 632 eighth-mile points race, the action during the NMCA Flowmaster Drag Racing Series season opener did not disappoint!
In VP Racing Fuels Pro Mod new rules for 2015 opened up the class to vehicles with roots or twin-screw superchargers. These alcohol-injected beasts with their raucous exhaust notes emanating from their zoomie headers certainly grabbed everyone’s attention in Bradenton. John Benoit of Vermont made the only five-second run of the weekend with his nitrous car and went number one in qualifying, but the juice didn’t last long. Michael Biehle II in his turbocharged machine and Robert Abbott in his supercharged ’69 Camaro charged to the final. Rumor has it that Abbott was nursing a serious illness all weekend, but he made pass after pass regardless. In the final race of the day, Biehle took the advantage off the line and his twin turbos hauled the mail on the top end with a 6.09/252mph winning performance to Abbott’s 6.17/228. Hopefully Abbott, Rick Sachsel, and Tommy Dwyer will bring their blower cars to Atlanta and make some more noise in the Pro Mod ranks.

VP Racing Fuels Supports NMCA Drag Racing Series as Official Fuel and Pro Mod Class Sponsor

Route 66 Raceway to Host NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing on July 30-Aug. 2, 2015
Santa Ana, CA – The ProMedia Competition Department is proud to announce that the Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag 
Racing will be held at the historic Route 66 Raceway from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2, 2015. On this weekend, Joliet will be ready to host one of the biggest and most popular events of the season. And with the recently renewed contract between ProMedia LLC and Route 66 Raceway, the famed Super Bowl of Drag Racing has a home through the year 2020.

2014 NMCA Flowmaster Drag Racing Series & Chevrolet Performance LSX Challenge Series Come To A Close at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indy
Santa Ana, CA – Cool October weather set the stage for big performances at the NMCA’s final race of the year at Lucas Oil Raceway in 
Indianapolis, and as expected, records fell in a number of classes and numerous upsets made for an exciting finale of the Flowmaster series at the 13th Annual FEL-PRO NMCA World Finals. Race teams put it all on the line to win the Aerospace Components NHRA Unleashed Wally and collect as many points as possible to achieve championship status.
Kooks Pro Mod saw four cars qualify in the 5.80-5.90 range – a feat that had never occurred before in NMCA competition. As these ultra-fast machines went through the rounds, Steve Summers’ parachutes failed to deploy after his semifinal win. A subsequent thrash ensued and he made the lane call to square off against Michael Biehle II in the final. Biehle’s Boss Mustang Pro Mod was at the top of its game this weekend, and secured the event win with a 5.89 at 251 mph pass, while Summers broke traction early in the run.

Santa Ana, CA – The 13th Annual FEL-PRO NMCA World Street Finals is the final event of the 2014 NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals 
and the 2014 Chevrolet Performance LSX Challenge Series. It’s the biggest American muscle car drag race of the year and it’s where the 2014 NMCA Champions are crowned! The points race is close in several classes so the racing is bound to be some of the best yet. This is a MUST ATTEND event for racers, sponsors, media and spectators.
Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis was the scene of last year’s NMCA World Finals and it did not disappoint! Records were set and spectators loved the close side-by-side action on the drag strip. This year, the 250+ mph heads up racing in Kooks Pro Mod and Stainless Works Street Outlaw is guaranteed to be exciting. Mickey Thompson Radial Wars, Edelbrock Xtreme Street, ARP Nitrous Pro Street and several other classes deliver wheels up action every time. And there’s something for everyone, including entry-level racers who can join the ranks of Magnafuel Open Comp and Gear Vendors True Street.
