JFR WORLD CHAMPIONS SET TO MEET FANS AT HENRY BROWN CHEVROLET

PHOENIX – On Thursday February 25th before the Carquest NHRA Nationals at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park John Force - Shutea pair of Funny Car world champions will sign autographs and spend a few hours with fans at Henry Brown Chevrolet. John Force, 16-time Funny Car champion and driver of the PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car will be joined by 2009 Funny Car champion Robert Hight driver of the Auto Club Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car at the dealership located in Casa Grande. The duo will be at the dealership from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. talking racing and what it is like to race at speeds in excess of 320 mph.

“Going to Chevrolet dealerships to talk with fans is one of the things that make our partnership with Chevy so great. I started my career with a Chevrolet race car and now to be back with Chevrolet is awesome. Robert and I will be signing hero cards and talking about the season but we’ll also be trying to sell some Camaros or Silverado trucks. We love racing in Phoenix and this is a great way to get the race weekend started,” said Force, who raced to a semi-final finish at the season opening Winternationals.

J. FORCE, HIGHT RACE TO SEMIS AT WINTERNATIONALS

POMONA, CA – The 2016 Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season started with some success for John Force Racing John Force - 2016 Winter Nationals, Sunday - Richard Shuteeven though none of the drivers raced into the winner’s circle at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona. Led by strong performances from seven-time Winternationals winner John Force and three-time winner Robert Hight who each raced to semi-final finishes John Force Racing will leave California as No. 3 and No. 4 in Funny Cars and with quarter-finalist Courtney Force in the No. 6 position.

For the eleventh straight year JFR advanced at least one Funny Car to the semi-finals at the historic Circle K NHRA Winternationals. No. 3 qualifier Robert Hight and the Auto Club Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car defeated Tommy Johnson Jr in the first round and took out teammate Courtney Force in a close second round battle.

HIGHT AND AUTO CLUB CHEVROLET LEAD JFR INTO RACE DAY

POMONA – At the conclusion of qualifying for the historic 56th annual edition of the Circle K NHRA Winternationals Robert Hight - 2016 Winter Nationals - Saturday, Ron LewisRobert Hight and the Automobile Club of Southern California Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car will lead the charge for John Force Racing as the No. 3 qualifier. Hight’s final run of qualifying a stellar 3.913 second pass secured the third spot and earned Hight a valuable qualifying bonus point. Hight is followed in the Funny Car qualifying order by teammate Courtney Force, No. 6 and John Force, No. 9. Brittany Force and the Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster team were the picture of consistency throughout all four qualifying session settling into the No. 6 qualifying spot, her best career start at the Winternationals.

Hight and the Auto Club team powered into the No. 3 spot and he will face Tommy Johnson Jr. in the first round. This will be the first time Hight has faced Johnson Jr. at the Winternationals and Hight holds a 13-6 career win record versus him. Last year as the No. 7 qualifier Hight raced to the semi-finals before dropping a close race to Ron Capps.

HIGHT, C. FORCE AT TOP OF FUNNY CAR ON FRIDAY

POMONA – Robert Hight and the Automobile Club of Southern California Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car team Robert Hight - Pomona - Friday, Ron Lewispicked up right where they left off after last week’s test session in Phoenix. The 2099 NHRA Funny Car champion blasted to the provisional No. 1 spot in Funny Car at the 56th annual Circle K NHRA Winternationals with a first session 3.942 second run at 322.19 mph. He was followed immediately by teammate and sister-in-law Courtney Force in the No. 2 position on the strength of her 3.945 second pass. Team leader John Force and his PEAK Antifreeze Chevy Camaro finished the day in the No. 6 spot and Brittany Force and the Monster Energy Top Fuel team will go into Saturday as the No. 5 Top Fuel team.

For Hight and his Mike Neff tuned Auto Club Camaro Funny Car the first run of the day was impressive because of the heat of the track and the statement it made to the rest of the field. After a historic season of Funny Car racing last year Hight knew that the strategy of the class would have to change moving forward in 2016.

YORBA LINDA, CA – Bank of America and Merrill Lynch Financial Services hosted a luncheon event at the John BoA event at John Force racing Yorba LindaForce Racing Yorba Linda headquarters yesterday in advance of the 56th annual Circle K NHRA Winternationals. The financial institutions invited employees and valuable clients to the shop for an afternoon of racing memorabilia and to hear John Force, 16-time Funny Car champion and five decade Bank of America customer, talk about NHRA drag racing and his family’s on-track and business success.

“I have been with Bank of America since I opened my first checking account in the mid-60s. Four generations of my family have banked with them over the past 50 years. They have been great business partners and I have worked with Merrill Lynch Financial Services for over 20 years. I told stories about the early days of racing and also how important having solid financial backing is on and off the track,” said Force.

Team Force ready for the Winter Nationals and the 2016 NHRA Season

POMONA – The winningest driver in NHRA history is ready to get the 2016 NHRA season started with the 56th Joihn Force - Richard Shute/Auto Imageryannual Circle K NHRA Winternationals this weekend at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona. John Force, the 16-time Funny Car champion, will be racing under the PEAK Antifreeze banner all season behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car. This weekend Force will be looking to win the historic season opening race for the eighth time.

“I am excited about getting the season started. We had a great week of testing in Phoenix and my PEAK hot rod is ready. My crew chief Jon Schaffer and my team have worked hard over the off-season and we will be ready for the Winternationals,” said Force, the 2014 Winternationals winner.

JOHN FORCE RACING WRAPS UP SUCCESSFUL TEST SESSION IN PHOENIX

PHOENIX – The quartet of John Force Racing race cars wrapped up a successful four days of NHRA pre-season John Force top end Ron Lewistesting at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park today. John Force Racing cars claimed seven of the 10 quickest runs of the day. Brittany Force and the Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster team led all Top Fuel dragsters today with a 3.721 second pass at 319.07 mph.

“I am definitely glad we are here in Phoenix testing. We were here for four days and I needed every single run that we made to make me feel more comfortable. Teaming up with Alan Johnson and Brian Husen as my crew chief has been great,” said Force, who finished the 2015 season in 7th place. “They have made a lot of changes to this Monster Energy dragster. They run a whole different system that what we used to run. It takes some time to adjust to that and I am learning the car. It is starting to feel like home. We ran a couple of 3.72s and I am ready to get to Pomona.”

STEVEN COLE RETURNS TO JFR AS VP OF SALES

YORBA LINDA, CA – Steven Cole has returned to John Force Racing as Vice President of Sales for John Force Steven ColeRacing. The 25 year motorsports sales and sports marketing veteran has experience working with the NHRA and NASCAR and returns to JFR after nearly two seasons as the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for the IHRA.

“We are excited to have Steve rejoin our sales and marketing team. He is going to work along with Robert Hight and myself to continue to bring in new sponsors and support our current partners,” said John Force.

Before originally joining JFR in 2012 Cole was the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Advertising & Team Relations for Action Performance Companies, Inc. and previously owned his own company in Charlotte working with NASCAR teams on sponsorship marketing with their partners.
