Aeromotive Gears Up for Big Weekend Close to Home at NHRA Heartland Nationals at Heartland Motorsports Park
TOPEKA, KS – Aeromotive Inc., the market leader in fuel delivery systems and components, is commemorating its 
25th year in 2019 and one of the biggest celebrations will take place this weekend at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka.
The company will have a major presence at this weekend’s Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals presented by Minties in Topeka, bringing all of its employees to Heartland Motorsports Park, which is just over an hour from Aeromotive’s Lenexa, Kan. headquarters.
Aeromotive also sponsors the left-hand lane at the facility, while president Steve Matusek will be driving his turbocharged Aeromotive 25th anniversary Ford Mustang in the NHRA Pro Mod class as well.
“We’re super excited for this weekend. It’s great to have the opportunity to bring our team out to a race of this magnitude,” Aeromotive Vice President Jeff Stacy said. “In total we have nearly 200 people coming out to spend time in the pits with Steve [Matusek] and the Aeromotive Pro Mod Mustang as well as longtime Aeromotive racer Larry Larson, who’ll be attempting to set the street-legal elapsed time record this weekend.”
Steve Matusek Celebrates Future, Aeromotive’s 25th Anniversary with New Wrap
LENEXA, KS –Steve Matusek had a vision for how he wanted his Pro Mod Mustang to look for the 2019 NHRA Pro 
Mod season. When the veteran standout got the chance to look at the finished product, it was like his vision had come to life.
With a perfect mixture of a throwback to the start of Matusek’s racing career with the Mustang to the forward-thinking approach heading into 2019, the wrap and car are equal parts old-school and new-school. Adding a nod to Aeromotive’s 25th anniversary and a distinctive color scheme, and Matusek believes the car has the ideal look heading into a year with big expectations.
“I wanted to have something that represented our company and with the precision in which we do things,” said Matusek, who founded Aeromotive in 1994. “But at the same time, we wanted make it relevant to today’s younger generation. I think we accomplished that goal where the car is relevant to the newer generation.”
Matusek Joins Forces with Elite Motorsports to Field Turbocharged Mustang in 2019 NHRA Pro Mod Campaign
INDIANAPOLIS – It will come full circle for Pro Mod driver Steve Matusek in 2019. The veteran standout 
announced today he will drive a twin-turbo Ford Mustang for Elite Motorsports in 2019, joining Elite’s burgeoning Pro Mod operation that will also feature Erica Enders and Alex Laughlin for the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service season.
It’s a return to Matusek’s beginnings, not only for Pro Mod but also in drag racing and it’s an opportunity to drive a Mustang for a forward-thinking operation he couldn’t pass up.
“My dad worked at a Ford dealership, my dad ran Fords, so those are my roots,” Matusek said. “I loved how you had to be innovative to make their power plants work. So coming full circle to that, it’s really fulfilling for me. It gets back to my roots. It’s an unbelievable team with unbelievable drivers and I view this team like an onion. As I started to peel back the layers, you start to realize how much is there. The team consists of a lot of high-profile, powerful people, so it’s exciting.”
The addition of Matusek is the latest move for Elite Motorsports as it continues to take a bigger leap into the NHRA Pro Mod ranks.
Aeromotive Named “Official Fuel Systems” Sponsor of IHRA
Presenting Sponsor of the Amsoil Nostalgia Nitro Funny Cars and IHRA Northern Nationals
NORWALK, OH – Aeromotive, Inc. has signed an extensive marketing agreement with the International Hot Rod 
Association that includes being named the presenting sponsor of the IHRA Nitro Jam Northern Nationals August 7-8, 2015 in Martin, Michigan. The IHRA Nitro Jam Northern Nationals presented by Aeromotive will include a full line-up of professional and sportsman classes including Crower Pro Modified.
In addition, Aeromotive becomes the “Official Fuel Systems” of the IHRA along with a category entitlement package that includes becoming the presenting sponsor of the ultra-competitive Amsoil Funny Car class.
