Santa Ana, CA – The NMCA is pleased to announce ATI Performance Products, one of the leading manufacturers of racing automative transmissions, torque converters, and balancers, as the sponsor for NMCA’s new 275 Drag Radial class in 2011. 275 Drag Radial developed from NMCA’s popular Street Radial class that showcased incredible ETs and MPHs on traditional DOT tires.

With the cars going faster and faster, and the increased popularity of 275 drag racing around the country, the NMCA is moving with the market by rewriting its Street Radial rules into the new ATI 275 Drag Radial class.

“ATI Performance Products is excited to sponsor NMCA’s 275 Drag Radial class in 2011. We look forward to working with the racers to get all their power to the ground and cars into the winners circle,” said JC Beattie, Jr., Chief Operating Officer at ATI Performance Products.

“275 Drag Radial racing is one of the hottest categories in the U.S. and we have seen it grow each year with very strong competitors in our area who race at MIR and other local tracks. We expect the ATI 275 Drag Radial Class to be a fan favorite in 2011 and beyond.”

275 Drag Radial is considered a “pro” category within the NMCA, making it eligible to receive larger contingency awards, and competitors include such high-profile names as Michael Fratena, Bob Kurgan, Jason Lee, Randy Lambert, Dan Kroll, Enzo Pecchini, Jason Hoots, Don Barnett, Bruce Maichle, Blake Catalanotto, Mike Alwardt, Randy Stinchcomb, Chris Evans and many others.

275 Drag Radial will compete at all NMCA points national events and will indeed be one of the fan favorites in 2011. For more information on ATI Performance Products log on to www.atiracing.com.
