O’FALLON, MO – Widely-regarded as a pioneer for engine blocks and an innovator for cylinder heads, Brad Anderson of Brad Anderson Enterprises has long been considered one of the marquee names in drag racing.

In 2011, the company will also be a major sponsor of the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) for the first time.

In an exciting move for the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league, the ADRL announced the sponsorship on Monday, just days before the 2011 ADRL Tour begins at Royal Purple Raceway.

“This is a very big deal to us and we’re thrilled to have Brad and BAE as a major sponsor for this racing season,” ADRL Vice President of Sales and Marketing Brian Evans said.

“They are a huge supplier for some of the biggest names in the ADRL, which is a testament to the incredible work Brad and his team do on a continuous basis.”

Anderson, whose 50 years of drag racing experience includes 24-national event wins and three world championships in Alcohol Funny Car, is glad to support the ADRL as it heads towards its biggest year in league history.

The 2011 season starts with ADRL CarSafe Dragpalooza VII on March 25-26 in Baytown, Texas.

“I feel good about the ADRL as it continues to move in the right direction,” Anderson said. “They’ve made a lot of positive moves over the past few months and they are the future for cars with doors.

“The bulk of our customers race in the ADRL and we’re just trying to give back.”

With more than 30 years of experience, BAE’s engine block and cylinder head production is world-renowned in drag racing.

Anderson’s customer list includes the top names in the ADRL’s Pro Extreme and Extreme 10.5 divisions, including Jason Scruggs, Quain Stott and the entire Al-Anabi Racing team.

The Los Angeles-based business has worked endlessly to become a go-to choice in the sport, a matter that Anderson takes great pride in.

“We try very hard to give the customer what they want,” Anderson said.

Anderson and BAE will have a noticeable presence at ADRL events in 2011, a further sign of the fostering relationship between the two companies.

“We will absolutely enjoy having Brad at the track and we look forward to this partnership continuing to grow,” Evans said.
