Terry Housley To Drive Ballance Racing’s Corvette At Vegas Super Nationals
FOLSOM, CA (August 13, 2009) – Terry Housley, a 2-time ADRL Pro Nitrous National Event Winner, will be piloting the Ballance Racing ’53 Corvette at this years Street Car Super Nationals, Nov 19-22 at “The Strip” at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the Hughes Performance Pro Street class..
Joining the team as well for the Super Nationals will be Terry’s son Blake… Mark, Bryan, Chris and Irv Ballance already make up this very talented crew, “but adding Blake Housley will give us the much needed experience to compete at this very competitive race” says team owner Irv Ballance… “We’re all really excited about the additions to our team and look forward on improving on our semi-final finish at last years SCSNs”
864 cubic inches of muscle from a Sonny’s Hemi powerplant and several SpeedTech Nitrous systems propel the 1953 Corvette based out of Folsom, California. The car has run a best et of 6.39 at 218 mph in the quarter mile to date, but look for improved times as the year progresses… The team is sponsored by the family owned business ‘Ballance Construction’ Terry Housley and the Ballance Racing Team will compete in several other events in preparation for the Super Nationals including the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mods “Fox Hunt” event in Sacramento, California and 2 ADRL events in Rockingham & Texas.
