BURNDOWN AT THE BEND SET TO BRING BIG MONEY RACING BACK TO SOUTHERN ONTARIO THIS WEEKEND
BRAMPTON, ON – In less than two days the gates will be opening at Grand Bend Motorplex for an Inaugural event 
known as the R&L Racing Burndown at the Bend presented by Auto Meter, which will be looking to bring big money bracket racing back to the Southern Ontario Market place for the first time in over five years.
Racers from all over Ontario, as well as Quebec, New York, Michigan and Ohio will be descending upon the facility to try and win a portion of the many thousands of dollars up for grabs over the course of the three day event. The feature classes at the event will be Super Pro, racing for two $5000 cash prizes, Modified Eliminator awarding $2000 both Saturday and Sunday, and Quick 16 which will see a Top Dragster/Top Sportsman combo (8 fastest Dragster and 8 fastest Doorslammers) gunning for the $3500 winner’s prize on Sunday after they are done qualifying on Saturday/Sunday morning. Bike and Sled racers will also have a shot at $1000 each day, while Jr Drag Racers will attempt to win the $500 winners share of their purses both days.
R&L RACING SIGN ON TO BE TITLE SPONSOR FOR BURNDOWN AT THE BEND 1
BRAMPTON, ON – R&L Racing have signed on to become the Main title sponsor for DSE Racing Promotions 
Burndown at the Bend 1. The event will be held June 10-12, 2016 at the Canada’s premier racing facility Grand Bend Motorplex and will be awarding thousands of dollars in cash prizes to racers in Modified, Super Bike/Sled, Jr Dragster, Quick 16 with the big prize of $5000 to win in Super Pro.
In addition to title sponsoring the Event, R&L Racing will also be supporting the JR Dragster class during the event, as well as both the Box and No Box Saturday Night Shoot-outs title sponsor, and presenting sponsor for the Quick 16 category.
Henry Roffelsen and Chuck Lindsay who make up the two parts of R&L Racing, have been friends for 25 years, the last twelve of which they have spent focusing on their Drag Racing team where Henry is the driver and Chuck serves as the Crew Chief and Engine Builder. During their first few season together Chuck and Henry campaigned a Camaro at various events in Southern Ontario before moving into their more familiar Dragster combination in 2009
DSE Racing Promotions set to Present “Burndown at the Bend I”
BRAMPTON, ON – DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Promotions will be helping bring big money bracket racing 
back to the Southern Ontario marketplace this summer with their newly announced “Burndown at the Bend 1” event, which will be held June 10-12, 2016 at Grand Bend Motorplex, in Grand Bend Ontario Canada.
The “Burndown at the Bend” event will feature three days of bracket racing for sportsman racers, with Saturday and Sunday featuring high dollar prizes for racers in Super Pro (Box), Modified (No Box), Super Bike/Sled (box/no box combo), Jr Dragster as well as Top Sportsman and Top Dragster competitors. In addition, the event will feature select Box and No box racers going head-to-head for big cash prizes in separate special Saturday Night Shootouts.

Top 16 Sportsman Series Racers to battle for All-Star Supremacy and $1000 Prize
CAYUGA, ON – The top 16 Point’s racers from the DSE Sportsman Racing Series are preparing for a big Labour Day 
weekend Showdown at Toronto Motorsports Park as they look to hit the track Saturday for the 2nd Annual Abruzzi Transmissions and Converters All-Star Race during the 5th Annual Dragstar Racing Components Labour Day Championships presented by Racecards.ca.
Racers qualified by collecting points at the final four events of 2014, and the first five events of 2015. The winner of the Abruzzi Transmission All-Star Race will take home a $1000 cash prize as well the coveted All-Stars Trophy .
?2014 Abruzzi Transmission DSE All-Star Champion Bob Richards, will be looking to make it two in a row with a 2015 win.
5th Annual Dragstar Racing Components Labour Day Championships Ready to kick off at Toronto Motorsports Park
WATERLOO, ON – One of the largest Sportsman Races in Ontario is set to take place at Toronto Motorsports Park this weekend as the 5th Annual Dragstar Racing Components Labour Day Championships presented by RaceCards.ca will see racers from all over Ontario and New York State descend on the legendary facility for what will be a weekend full of Championship Drag Racing.
Of the six Championship classes within the DSE Sportsman Series, three are still up for grabs going into the final weekend, meaning every round of competition will now be worth that much more. Joining the DSE Series this weekend with their exciting Heads-Up 9.90 Racing action is the Western New York Super Rod Association, as well as the high flying, wheel-standing racers from the Can-Am Stock/Super Stock Association.

This weekends event Kicks off the DSE Sportsman Racing Series 4th Championship season
CAYUGA, ON – Racers from all over Ontario and Western New York will be heading towards Cayuga Ontario this 
weekend as the 4th championship season in the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series is set to get underway with the Lowdown Hot Rods Season Opener.
The Season Opener will feature two full days of racing for seven categories of bracket cars including, Jr Dragster, Street Eliminator, Super Bike/Sled , Quick 16, Super Pro, Modified and the newest class added to the series for this season Street Bike Eliminator. In-addition to the seven bracket categories, race fans will also be able to enjoy fantastic 10.90 Index racing courtesy of the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series, and their event sponsor Ian Hill Racing/RPM Magazine.
Canadian Performance Retailer Helping Take Racing Off the Street and to the Track
Performance Improvements returns to title sponsor Street Eliminator Class
TORONTO, ON – Performance Improvements will once again be sponsoring the DSE Sportsman Racing Series 
Street ?Eliminator category for the 2015 season by contributing $1000 in certificates to the year end Points fund as well as awarding ten $50 certificates to one Street Eliminator racer at each event who has the best first round loosing package.
The Performance Improvements Street Eliminator class is designed to give Automotive enthusiasts who wish to race their Street vehicles a safe and organized place to run against other street legal vehicles at the drag strip in a no pressure environment. Vehicles in the category must run drive tires stamped DOT approved for street use, and must use full exhausts with commercially available mufflers. Vehicles will not be allowed to run any bracket racing aids such as delay boxes, two steps, or air/electric shifters unless it was installed with the vehicle from the factory.
