18th Annual Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords Spring Break Shootout Class

SANTA ANA, CA – The NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals, the #1 all-Ford motorsport show in the U.S., is pleased to announce that Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords will once again join forces with the NMRA to feature the Spring Break Shootout race at the Nitto Tire NMRA Ford Nationals event at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, FL, March 1-4, 2012. 

Baer Brake Systems has stepped-up to support Muscle Mustangs and the NMRA as the presenting sponsor of the Spring Break Shootout class and is offering a complete Baer brake system product sponsorship to the winner!

This awesome event, which Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords started back in 1995, features some of the fastest street-style Mustangs in the land competing for the honor of Spring Break Shootout champion.  With easy to follow rules, the Muscle Mustangs Spring Break Shootout class regularly attracts over 100 True Street cars competing for a top-16 spot to qualify for the Shootout.

Spring Break Shootout Class Rules:

The Muscle Mustangs Spring Break Shootout class, presented by Baer Brake Systems, is a heads-up Quick 16 format race that will take place on Sunday, March 4th, 2012.  The Spring Break Shootout race will be open to the quickest 16 cars that run in NMRA’s TREMEC True Street class (presented by Muscle Mustangs) on Saturday, March 3rd. 

To be eligible for the Spring Break Shootout class, competitors must meet True Street rules, compete in the True Street class on Saturday, and make all three True Street passes.  The sixteen (16) competitors who have the fastest 3-pass averages will be placed on a sportsman ladder and will race heads-up on a 4/10 pro tree.

Spring Break Shootout Purses:

• Winner:           $800 + Plaque + 6′ Trophy + Baer Brake Systems SS4+ Drag Spec Brake System ($1,890 value!)
• Runner-Up:     $400 + Plaque + $500 Baer Brake Systems Product Certificate
• Semis:              $200
• Quarters:         $100
• Eighths:           $50
