16th Annual SDPC Raceshop NMCA World Street Finals Featuring the 11th Annual Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout

World’s Fastest Street Cars Invade Indianapolis!

NMCA is returning to Lucas Oil Raceway this year as the 16th Annual Scoggin-Dickey Raceshop NMCA World Street Finals presented by Chevrolet Performance rolls into town September 21st-24th.

In years past, by the time the final race of the season begins, many championship battles have already been decided – especially in the heads-up classes. That is not the case this year as several of the most exciting classes are going down to the wire including VP Racing Fuels Xtreme Pro Mod where the points battle was tossed on its head recently after points leader, Adam Flamholc, announced that due to health reasons, he would not be attending the 2017 season finale. That essentially puts Jason Hamstra and Steve Summers in a two-way battle for the title, with Billy Banaka having an outside shot.

There’s a three-way battle in Mickey Thompson Radial Wars as point leader Marty Stinnett tries to hold off late-season charges from Josh Klugger and David Adkins.

Don Baskin took the points lead from Jeff Rudolf in ARP Nitrous Pro Street after the race in Norwalk, Ohio, but Rudolf trails by less than 100-points.

In VP Racing Fuels Street Outlaw four racers are contending for the championship. Charlie Cooper leads the way, but Norwalk winner, Manny Buginga is just a tick behind Cooper with Jarod Wenrick and Jacky McCarty both within striking distance.

Those are just a few of the classes, which won’t be decided until the racing is done next weekend. However, one thing we know for sure: with so much on the line, the performances will be off the charts at Lucas Oil Raceway!

Yet that isn’t all that will he happening in Indy. This race also features the 11th Annual LSX Shootout, the final race of the 2017 Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series season where championships will also be settled. Want to see some of the quickest and fastest LS and modern LT-powered cars on the planet? You need to be at Lucas Oil Raceway.

In addition to the LSX Shootout, there will also be a special Top Sportsman Shootout, Nostalgia Super Stock All-Star Shootout, and the cars of the Factory Appearing Stock Tire (F.A.S.T.) class.

Finally, the race will also host TV celebrity appearances from Street Outlaws’ BoostedGT, Derek, and Kayla Morton. Boosted, Derek, and Kayla will be set-up on the midway all day Saturday, and will be racing as well as available to fans for photos and autographs all day long! Be sure to get your picture with BoostedGT and his yellow JMS Chip sponsored turbocharged ’03 SVT Cobra, Derek with his nitrous gulping ’86 Camaro called “Silver Unit,” and Kayla Morton in her awesome ’05 ProCharged Ford Mustang.
