16th Annual Honeywell Garrett NMCA All-American Nationals Featuring the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series
Summit Motorsports Park will once again come alive August 24-27 as the racers of the NMCA head to Norwalk, Ohio 
for the 16th Annual Honeywell Garrett NMCA All-American Nationals.
Any fan of muscle car racing will tell you there’s nothing quite like the NMCA, with classes racing in the eighth and quarter-mile, it’s a feast for those who live and breathe performance. This year’s event promises to be off the charts as the NMCA begins winding down it’s 30th season.
As Summit Motorsports Park fans have come to expect, this event is stacked with special events not usually seen at other NMCA races. Are you a fan of Street Outlaws? If so we have a chance for you to rub elbows with some of the shows players. This year we will be welcoming BoostedGT, Derek, and Kayla Morton.
Boosted, Derek, and Kayla will be set-up on the midway all day Saturday, August 26th, and will be racing and available to fans for photos and autographs all day long! Be sure to get your picture with BoostedGT and his yellow JMS Chip sponsored turbocharged ’03 SVT Cobra, Derek with his nitrous gulping ’86 Camaro called “Silver Unit,” and Kayla Morton in her awesome ’05 ProCharged Ford Mustang.
There will also be several special classes joining the NMCA regulars this year, too. Summit Motorsports Park will be hosting the second race of the 2017 Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series, which features five LSX and modern LT-based classes, all who will be battling it out not only for bragging rights, but for championship points as well.

To help balance the entrée of modern muscle, this event will once again be hosting the Factory Appearing Stock Tire group (F.A.S.T.) presented by Baskin Truck Sales. One of the most popular classes at last years event, these cars represent the power and performance of the glory days of the muscle car era. Although appearing to be stock (all the way down to the wheels and tires) these cars will blow your mind when you see them race on the track.
Topping off the list of special events will be a special Top Sportsman Shootout, which will feature some of the best Top Sportsman racers from the Midwest.
