FINALs

Travis Davis could not stop the impassioned Eric McKinney as he determined to scale and claim The Rock for his beloved Grandmother whose passing was still fresh on his heart.

Despite the lesser light, Eric powered past the man from Douglas, Georgia and grabbed the Minuteman, for Grandma, with a more than respectable 4.218 et at 170.60 mph.

Congratulations, Eric...well done!

SEMIs

Monte Campbell spotted some difficulty with his motor causing him to pull back from the start line and hand an impromptu by-run to Team McKinney

Travis Davis repeated his 4.167 et with a nearly identical light against...

the relentless Scott Gray earning him (Travis) a spot in the Dragstock Final Battle at The Rock.

ROUND 2

Scott Gray definitely brought game from tree to turnbuckle, against the formidable James Helton, as he put up a .011 light and generated a 4.243 et at 168.83 mph earning clean passage to the semis.

Matt Prophit’s red light start gave Monte Campbell a quick pass to the semis despite Monte’s difficulties with his nitrous system.

Ashley Owens’ amazing 4.180 et was not enough to compensate for young Eric McKinney’s near perfect .010 reaction time, giving Eric a well deserved ticket to the semis.

Travis Davis took on #1 qualifier Lance Hines in a down home Georgia tooth and nail battle for bragging rights, but Travis took him at the tree and held his lead putting up a 4.168 at 171.23 mph to Lance’s valiant 4.201 at 171.49 mph

ROUND 1

Minuteman holder Travis Davis powered passed Mimmo Marciano with a screaming 4.192 et after giving up nearly 3/10ths at the tree.

Matt Prophit took Ricardo Knights at the tree and held the lead, full track, with a 4.284 et to Ricardo’s 4.328. I’m telling you…this field is incredibly tight.

Ashley Owens advanced running a gentle 4.842 with an broke bike after Ron Clark turned the red on.

Despite the lesser light, James Helton advanced to Round 2 outrunning Carlos Wilkerson by nearly 4/10ths of a second.

Scott Gray took full advantage of the pass Mantez Thompson handed him as Mantez nudged the red on. Scott posted a sterling .019 light with a 4.225 et…what a run!

Eric McKinney battled Coodee Thomas for every inch of real estate, but emerged victorious with only a whisper between them at the finish.

Ron Procopio red lit by a devastating 1/1000th of a second against Monte Campbell, but proceeded to battle and posted a 4.252 et at 166.29 mph to Monte’s 4.227.

What Eric  Delisle gained at the tree he lost in shear power as Lance Hines bested his 4.318 with a 4.218 sending Eric back to Florida with a pocketful of experience.
