Owens 4.240 backs up the 4.207 run in the semi's for a new world record in XPM.

Casey Stemper got a bit of a hot seat during his semi final round loss in Extreme Pro Motorcycle.

Gary White took a wild ride in his semi final ride against Billy Glidden in XTF.  White was on the bars hard at the start.  At one point the car was literally on 2 wheels!

Hank Hill was working on resetting Tony Bischoff's suspension...it was 12:30!

Qualifying round 1.

Ashley Owens is sitting at #1 in XPM with a 4.207 @ 176.31 MPH (new world ET record)

Billy Glidden is #1 in X 10.5 with a 4.099 @ 176.15 MPH

Pro Testing is nearly completed with just an hour left before they shutdown and get ready for round 1 qualifying.

The Meyer's made a nice 4.24 @ 182 MPH on the first shot after the fire.  The car bogged on the launch so it was very lazy on the bottom of the track.

Kahlid Al-Balooshi would run the quickest pass in Pro Nitrous with a 3.929 at 191 MPH

Tommy D'Aprile made a nice 3.88 pass. The crew is short of manpower this weekend with 2 of the regular crew working at the NHRA race in Joliet.  This team has something on the horizon...I was promised a news release in the next week!

Many low 4 teen runs in extreme Pro Stock!

Charlie Profit made a clean 4.30 pass.  It appears he's found his problems with the bike wanting to go left at the hit.  Time to get ready to race!

The teams continue to roll in and prepare for the weekend.

Meyer's has the car back together and will fire it shortly.

Mike Janis is prepping the car for a shot during pro testing.  They are 1 of the teams still in from Memphis and have Quain Stott in the semi's of that race.  The Memphis event will be completed tonight.

I found out this morning that Micke is going to run X 10.5 this weekend.  They've made several laps with the car since NMCA Bowling Green and will be very competitive if they can get the power to the ground.

So just how much does it cost to overnight an engine from Arlington TX to Martin Michigan?

Charlie Profit did find the problem with the bike that prevented him from qualifying in Memphis.  The wheelie bar was bent.  The 5/8ths of an inch out of alignment there led to a 1/4 inch out of alignment on the tire.  No wonder the bike kept pulling to the left on the launch!  Matt Profit, Charlie's brother will miss his second race in a row due to other commitments.
